Publisher description
This is not only a screen saver, this is the 'Symphony of Fire', 'The Destruction of the Death Star', 'The Sinking of the Bismarck', 'The SuperNova', and 'The Big Bang'. This amazing program was born at LCI (Laboratory for Computational Intelligence) in 1998. At that time, she was designed and coded as a course project to demonstrate the uses of particle systems in 3D graphics. Her user interface was in Motif and she can only run on SGI high performance workstations. Now she is reborn as a screen saver that can make every day a holiday! Main features are: 1) 21 different shapes of explosions, each has its own unique explosion sound. 2) 24 different colors. 3) 5 different special effects, they are: blinking, spinning, bouncing, tracing, and mice. 4) Flying 3D Text that rotate in X, Y, Z directions. 5) 3 different background images. Unzip the file, save firework.scr to c:/windows, open the control panel and select the OpenGL Fireworks from the screen saver list. And Boom, Bang,..Wow!
